Getting Started
Lesley // Student Success Specialist & TrackOne Liaison // Jun 09, 2010
Now that our Getting Started section is up and running, we are your #1 resource for information on how to prepare for First Year. The best part of Getting Started is that you can get prepared right from the comfort of your own home!
In addition to our regular podcasts and articles, the Getting Started section of the website will include regular weekly features such as:
Good to know … (practical topics and advice for First Year)
Lingo (terms and acronyms used around the Faculty)
Myths (debunking myths you might have heard)
Pearls of Wisdom (including study, commuting and residence tips)
Make sure you visit our website often, as we’ll be updating it with fresh information every second week all summer long! After reviewing the Getting Started section over the course of the summer, I guarantee you’ll feel excited and prepared when you arrive on campus this September.
You’ll also want to take advantage of F!rosh Week, which is an in-person, on-campus orientation for new First Year students. You won’t want to miss F!rosh Week, as it is always a blast.. meeting new people, attending concerts, eating a lot… ☺ We will be talking a lot more about F!rosh Week throughout the summer, and will send you all of the registration details shortly!
