My Favourite Skule Experience

Jesse’s Best Skule™ Experience:

Taking part in Frosh Week and moving into residence was an awesome experience. The first week was jam packed with tons of crazy activities and fun events that really made a lasting impression on me. Even though I came to Toronto not knowing a single person, by the end of the week I had met tons of people and made a lot of friends. It is also important to find the right balance between school work and extracurricular activities. Toronto is such a vibrant city with lots of things to explore and there are many activities to take part in as an engineer. I was a frosh leader and head floor representative for my residence where I got to organize tons of fun events. The best thing about this program is the fact that people work together—teamwork is a big part of engineering and that’s something I really enjoy. I also really like the idea of being able to apply the stuff you learn in the classroom to design new things and solve the world’s problems.
