To Do List #6

to do

1. Register for F!rosh Week
Registration for orientation week, also know as F!rosh Week is now open! F!rosh Week is an in-person orientation where you will participate in all sorts of fun activities, games and exciting challenges! This is a week full of new friends and unforgettable experiences just for the incoming First Year engineering class. Visit orientation.skule.ca to register!

2. Plan to attend the Parents’ Welcome and Orientation Session on September 2nd
You should be receiving your official invitation shortly, but in the meantime, plan to attend this event with your parents on Thursday, September 2nd at 7:30pm in Convocation Hall on the St. George Campus. You and your parents will meet some of the people in the Faculty that will play an important part in the next four years of your life.

3. Pay your fees
Fees invoices and course timetables are now available on ROSI. Be sure to pay the “Minimum Required” amount as listed on your fees invoice by August 24th (not September 1 as mentioned in the previous email update). If you have any questions about this process, do not hesitate to contact the fees office by email at student.accounts@utoronto.ca or by phone at 416-978-2142. You can also visit the Fees Office website for more information: fees.utoronto.ca.
For information about how to pay tuition fees from outside of Canada, please visit the following website: fees.utoronto.ca

Please Note: Your class schedule may change before the start of classes so be sure to check your schedule in early September to ensure you are going to the correct lecture sections. Your schedule will be final as of September 3rd but room changes may still occur during the first few weeks of class. Please be sure to listen for room changes announcements in class or posted on Blackboard. The Faculty timetable and ROSI will also reflect the most up to date locations for all engineering classes.

4. Get your TCard (if you are able)
If you are in the Toronto area and are able, we suggest you get your TCard (U of T student identification card) during the summer, rather than waiting until September (when the line up at the TCard Office can be really long). Be sure to bring your offer of admission letter along with you, as well as photo ID – they will ask for this when you arrive at the TCard Office. If you are not currently living in Toronto, not to worry – you can get your TCard on campus closer to the start of classes: utoronto.ca/tcard.

5. Unable to Attend this September?
If your plans have changed and you will no longer be joining us for your studies in September please email admit@ecf.utoronto.ca and let us know. Depending on your circumstances we may be offer you deferred admission to September 2012, please email admit@ecf.utoronto.ca for more information.
